Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retirement Onboarding Administrator to join our team at Ascensus. As a key member of our client services team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our clients and their plan participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Setup and Maintenance: Set up, modify, and maintain system functionality for new and existing clients across various systems as directed by our project managers and service teams.
  • Plan Parameters and Record Keeping: Work with project managers to set up plan parameters and prepare website and record keeping systems as needed for new plans.
  • Plan Conversions and Implementation: Assist project managers in maintaining plan conversions and implementation checklists for new non-qualified plans.
  • Plan Design Changes: Perform complete and accurate requested plan/design changes for existing plans as directed by our service team.
  • Enrollment Site Review and Data Loads: Assist the enrollment team in reviewing enrollment sites and loading enrollment data into the record keeping system.
  • Project Status Reporting: Utilize our product support workflow system effectively and report the status of all work projects to your manager as requested.
  • Process Improvement: Work with your manager to identify problems and improve efficiencies relative to servicing non-qualified plans.
  • Plan Deconversions: Assist in coordinating plan deconversions and work with trading, client services, and other departments as necessary to ensure a common understanding of requirements and customer expectations.
  • Reporting and Correspondence: Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Communication and Presentation: Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Performance and Attendance: Consistently meet and/or exceed performance expectations, working under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment, and maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in the retirement plan industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the retirement plan industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
