Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal AI/ML Architect to join our Technical Domain Architecture team within the Architecture and Standards Group of our Global Technology Organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, a proven track record of designing and implementing AI/ML solutions, and the ability to lead and inspire engineering and data science teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement standards and best practices for AI/ML model development, including data processing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation and deployment.
- Lead the designs of IQVIA-wide systems such as multi-agent generative frameworks.
- Contribute to the design of the Internal Developer Portal (DevIQ) related to MLOps, MLE productivity tools and the use of AI services via frameworks, libraries and tools.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, and incorporate cutting-edge techniques into IQVIA's AI strategy.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data science and machine learning teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Lead an agile guild and conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the organization's knowledge of AI techniques and tools.
- Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Proven experience as an AI/ML Architect or in a similar role within a global technology organization.
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data science tools.
- Expertise with MLOps tooling (e.g. MLFlow).
- Strong understanding of data engineering and big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R and Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
