Position Overview:
As a key player in our organization, the Engineering Program Manager will spearhead the strategic planning, resource allocation, and execution of the Quality function within the Surgical - Advanced Surgical Technologies division.

Role Responsibilities:
The Quality Core Team Member (QCTM) will serve as the primary Quality Department leader, ensuring effective decision-making within development projects. This role is crucial in guiding cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives aligned with our overarching strategy.

Key Duties Include:
1. Representing the Quality Function in Project Core Team Decision Rights.
2. Acting as the Voice of Quality in Core Team initiatives and ensuring project deliverables are met.
3. Advising on Quality Dependencies during Project Planning and Execution phases.
4. Managing all Project Quality Deliverables and implementing Quality Related DRM Outcomes.
5. Identifying and resolving issues proactively.
6. Assessing project resource skill gaps and planning accordingly.
7. Facilitating team meetings and providing performance assessments.

Additional Responsibilities:
Directing the design and development of innovative medical device products, overseeing quality assurance systems, and guiding the conceptualization of new methodologies and processes. This includes managing feasibility studies and ensuring timely coordination with external suppliers.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 3 years of experience. Strong communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills are essential, along with a background in the medical device industry.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in product design within the Advanced Surgical Technologies portfolio, familiarity with embedded software, and a background in clinical environments will be advantageous. Certifications such as Project Management or DRM Black Belt/Green Belt are also desirable.
