Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Embassy Suites Knoxville/West, TN. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and high-quality results.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
  • Monitor and control housekeeping expenses, including linen and cleaning supplies, to ensure budget compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the housekeeping department.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
