Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Direct and motivate front desk staff, executive housekeepers, housekeepers, maintenance personnel, and van drivers to ensure they are performing their duties to the highest standards.
    • Coach and counsel team members, making hiring and firing decisions as necessary.
    • Remind front desk staff of the importance of marketing duties, such as promoting discounts, referring customers to other Gibson hotels, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Guest Service and Satisfaction
    • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints, either personally or by delegating to team members.
    • Live the guest service philosophy, offering alternative solutions when guest demands cannot be met.
    • Maintain a positive attitude, staying calm and patient in the face of challenging situations.
  • Individual Effectiveness
    • Arrive on time, giving advance notice of any anticipated absences.
    • Be honest and transparent with employees and guests, helping others when needed.
    • Refrain from eating, drinking, or smoking in the presence of guests.
    • Adhere to a high standard of personal hygiene and wear the required uniform.
    • Be available 24/7, addressing problems and issues with the managing partner as necessary.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
    • 2-4 years of experience in hospitality management.
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
    • Positive attitude and a team player.
