Housekeeping Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Inspector to join our team at Embassy Suites Knoxville/West, TN. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.

• Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to coordinate housekeeping activities and ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.
• Assist Room Attendants in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and storage rooms to ensure compliance with hotel standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services and equipment.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
• Provide feedback and coaching to Room Attendants to enhance their performance and skills.
• Participate in housekeeping team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to improve housekeeping services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or other hotel management.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 2 years' experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and guests.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
