Housekeeping Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Inspector to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Knoxville East. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.

• Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to coordinate room assignments and ensure efficient cleaning schedules.
• Assist Room Attendants in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities.
• Conduct regular inventory of cleaning supplies and linen stock to ensure adequate supplies and maintain budget control.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage rooms and stock carts.
• Investigate and resolve guest complaints regarding housekeeping services and equipment.
• Attend and participate in housekeeping team meetings to discuss best practices and share knowledge.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with staff and guests at all times.
• Assist in preparing for brand audits and implement improvements as needed.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Post room occupancy records and maintain accurate records of guest stays.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in all aspects of housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Supervisory experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
