Housekeeping Team Member

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Embassy Suites Knoxville/West, TN. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Housekeeping Team Member who is responsible for:

  • Working with the Executive Housekeeper to prepare work assignments and ensuring that rooms are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Assisting Room Attendants with cleaning guest rooms and maintaining the cleanliness of storage rooms and stock carts.
  • Inventorying and issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain budget control.
  • Investigating concerns regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and providing feedback to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Attending and occasionally conducting required housekeeping team meetings.
  • Maintaining a positive and professional attitude with staff at all times.
  • Assisting in preparing for brand audits and following through on improvements needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in all aspects of Housekeeping required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
