JOB OVERVIEW
The Café Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the Urban Air Café, ensuring that all shift responsibilities are executed effectively while mentoring and guiding Team Members.

This position requires a hands-on approach, with a significant portion of the workday spent in both the kitchen and service areas, preparing and serving food to guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the implementation of all operational processes, systems, and standards.
- Ensure accurate receipt and logging of deliveries in the absence of the Café Manager.
- Maintain proper storage and inventory rotation to minimize waste.
- Lead the Café Team, ensuring adherence to established standards of performance.
- Commit to scheduled shifts and be prepared to extend hours as needed based on business demands.
- Train Café Team Members in menu preparation and front-of-house service to uphold high quality standards.
- Set a positive example for the Café Team regarding attendance, punctuality, and professional attitude; ensure these standards are consistently met.
- Promote cleanliness and hygiene within the Café, including a regular deep cleaning schedule.
- Keep the Café and storage areas organized and accessible.
- Address guest concerns in the absence of the Café Manager.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- At least six months to one year of experience in food and beverage service (Quick Service or restaurant experience).
- Preferred one year of leadership experience.
- Current ServSafe or similar food handling certification, or willingness to obtain within the first month of employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distractions.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the facility.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.
