Position Overview:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping our market approach. This position involves close collaboration with various teams to establish effective methods for showcasing Censys's market leadership. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the security domain, enabling them to quickly gain trust with both sales teams and clients as a subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the distinct value proposition of products, with a comprehensive understanding of target markets and buyer profiles.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create and implement a cohesive product launch strategy.
  • Produce engaging, high-quality product materials across multiple formats, including print, online, social media, and video.
  • Work alongside content and demand generation teams to develop a marketing strategy that meets or surpasses pipeline, bookings, and conversion goals.
  • Effectively manage and execute plans that span various functional areas, including product management, business development, and sales.
  • Contribute to the creation and distribution of sales enablement resources to equip the sales team with strategies and competitive insights that enhance sales efficiency and conversion rates.
  • Engage with industry analysts such as Gartner and Forrester.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to gather and document personas, use cases, and common objections.
  • Regularly analyze win/loss data, close rates, and other critical funnel metrics to inform product marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing or a related field within a B2B SaaS environment; experience in cybersecurity is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, time management, writing, and project management abilities.
  • Highly driven, collaborative, and results-oriented.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams, product management, media, and industry analysts.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication and presentation skills; proactive and self-directed.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment that demands high levels of productivity, commitment, adaptability, communication, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Proficient in translating complex technical concepts into clear messaging for diverse audiences, including C-level security executives and technical security professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality.

The compensation range for this position is between $150,000 and $175,000, along with bonus eligibility and equity options.
