Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is a key function within Hexagon's Metrology Software organization responsible for the day-to-day management of the defined territory and the overall success of our Metrology Software group in the Northeast.

This role involves achieving and exceeding revenue goals, as well as ensuring overall customer satisfaction. The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with Development, Applications Engineering, Services, and Order Entry to provide a best-in-class customer experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a high standard of sales professionalism, product knowledge, and demonstration capabilities, as well as excellent leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets, generating sales revenues through software demonstrations, and working with OEM and Reseller Channels to maximize sales.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of proven field sales success
  • Passion for a long-term career in technical sales
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the territory (50% minimum)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Prior software and/or technical solution sales experience
  • Completion of formal sales training program(s) or course(s)
  • Metrology industry and market experience
  • Affinity toward technology and ability to quickly understand and embrace advanced technologies
