Accounts Payable Lead Position

At Niagara Bottling, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Lead to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our team members and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the daily activities of team members and ensure the timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Research and resolve various accounting, invoice, and payment processing issues.
- Direct team members towards department goals and support the workload by reviewing processes and procedures to improve workflow.
- Communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist team members with new processes and procedures to achieve team goals and individual KPIs.
- Improve and maintain supplier relationships through effective communication.
- Escalate supplier inquiries and/or complaints to the supervisor when necessary.
- Address past due accounts and escalate issues to the supervisor/manager immediately.
- Work with the AP supervisor and other departments on process improvements.
- Review weekly AP reports with the supervisor and assist with resolving issues.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects from the AP supervisor/manager.
- Assist with the development of goals and KPIs for team members.
- Review KPIs for transaction processing time to ensure terms are met.
- Effectively and efficiently communicate with the AP supervisor/manager regarding workload imbalances and needs for process improvement or staffing changes.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the position.

Pay Rate Type: Hourly
