We are seeking a highly skilled Business Transformation Lead with a specialization in Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI). This pivotal role will involve supporting a significant government office in enhancing operational efficiencies and stakeholder engagement.
This leadership position is essential for overseeing the Business Transformation Workstream, focusing on project design, execution, and sustainability. You will engage in both internal initiatives, such as stakeholder alignment and process improvement training, and external projects aimed at optimizing operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of industry standards and best practices for large-scale business transformation programs, from inception to operational management.
- Lead enterprise-wide process improvement projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Establish and manage comprehensive improvement programs within large organizations, particularly those with a workforce exceeding 8,000 employees.
- Create essential documentation for enterprise improvement programs, including standard operating procedures, templates, and governance materials.
- Provide Lean Six Sigma training and mentorship to senior practitioners.
- Possess a deep understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) structures, particularly within the Navy, and effectively drive change in this context.
- Utilize business process modeling and reengineering techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
- Leverage knowledge management platforms to improve organizational processes and provide actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- An active SECRET security clearance is mandatory.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years of additional experience may substitute for a degree).
- Over 8 years of practical experience in business systems analysis.
- Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt from a recognized institution.
- Familiarity with Navy and Department of the Navy organizational structures.
- Experience in supporting military clientele.
- Ability to create comprehensive briefing materials, including charts and schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Experience working within the Pentagon and established relationships with key leaders in the Department of the Navy.
