Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Environmental Compliance Manager to oversee P3/Design-Build projects and to enhance our environmental consulting services for standard delivery and local government transportation engineering design initiatives.

This is a long-term, full-time position that requires on-site presence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits of the Developer against the Comprehensive Environmental Protection Plan.
  • Engage in pre-construction meetings to stay informed about active construction zones.
  • Participate in Environmental Meetings as necessary.
  • Perform periodic site audits focusing on sensitive areas, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
  • Monitor and audit the Developer's Environmental Compliance Reports and documentation.
  • Verify adherence to hazardous material management and environmental permits.
  • Prepare and maintain internal reports on environmental activities and compliance status.
  • Review and provide feedback on Environmental Monitoring Reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Identify potential compliance issues and collaborate with the Environmental Compliance Manager to implement preventive measures.
  • Oversee the execution of erosion control measures and ensure compliance with Notices of Intent.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in large-scale transportation projects.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams during the post-contract award phase.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with large transportation construction projects, particularly in environmental compliance.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
