Position Summary

The Environmental Services Technician plays a crucial role in supporting EIC's mission by engaging in a variety of environmental tasks. This position requires a blend of technical skills and physical labor to ensure compliance with environmental standards and contribute to effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

The Environmental Services Technician will be tasked with:

1. Conducting the collection of various environmental samples including air, soil, water, and solid waste, as well as responding to spills and performing related physical labor.

2. Ensuring the maintenance and operation of specialized equipment and testing instruments, which includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and assessing new technologies.

3. Compiling and preparing data summaries, tables, and charts based on field data for analysis and reporting.

4. Upholding a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an environmental technician.

2. A solid foundation in manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and industrial automation, particularly in relation to environmental monitoring and remediation.

3. Familiarity with automation tools that facilitate communication and monitoring, with programming skills in software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Labview, and Measurement Studio being advantageous.

4. Educational background in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or automation engineering, with vocational training or a degree preferred.

5. Completion of OSHA Hazwoper training and commitment to ongoing safety education.

6. Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs.
