Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site preparation and cleaning activities, including power washing, hydro blasting, digging, sweeping, and removing hazardous waste materials after receiving proper training.
  • Identify potential hazards and take necessary precautions to ensure a safe working environment for personnel and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirator equipment on HAZWOPER sites, with uniforms and PPE provided.
  • Monitor job sites for hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work in diverse environments with varying physical demands, environmental conditions, and project requirements.
  • May be exposed to extreme environmental conditions, such as heat, cold, heights, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, and physical extremes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by site superintendents or management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working around heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Pre-employment drug and criminal background screening is required.
