We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Financial Assistance Representative/Financial Advisor to join our team at the Milford Fire Department - Massachusetts. Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with patients, clinicians, insurance companies, and healthcare administration to ensure patients are financially cleared for medical services.
- Analyze patients' financial status and provide guidance on how to cover healthcare costs.
- Work under the direction of the Director of Patient Financial Services to ensure patients are appropriately financially covered.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, clinicians, and insurance companies to facilitate access to financial programs and services.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
- Certified Application Counselor (CAC) certification required.
- Prior experience in financial counseling preferred; Meditech experience a plus.
