HSMC is seeking a highly skilled Controller to oversee the full cycle accounting process for client companies. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for direct supervision of Staff Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze Financial Statements prepared by Staff Accountants to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversight of the preparation of annual Uniform Financial Reports and related supporting schedules for companies.
  • Review and analysis of materials necessary for completion of annual audits as prepared by staff Accountants.
  • Oversight of renewal of insurance policies for delegated client companies.
  • Assist Chief Financial Officer and/or CEO with Ad-Hoc reporting and special projects as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
