The role of the Event Coordination Specialist involves planning, organizing, and executing various events within a retail environment to ensure a delightful and engaging experience for customers. Event Management Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of multiple events, including children's parties and craft workshops.
- Foster a fun and creative atmosphere for participants of all ages.
- Guide attendees through craft projects and engage in activities such as face painting.
- Implement additional event features, including goody bags and decorations, in accordance with company guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding event details.
- Handle administrative tasks, including correspondence and documentation related to events.
- Adapt event plans based on client feedback and requirements.
- Develop contingency plans to ensure smooth event execution.
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the event process.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events.
Customer Service Duties
- Assist customers in locating products and provide solutions to their needs.
- Deliver a prompt and friendly checkout experience.
- Engage customers regarding loyalty programs and assist with enrollments.
- Educate customers on feedback surveys.
- Support online order fulfillment processes.
- Participate in inventory management and store organization tasks.
- Ensure merchandise is well-presented and stocked.
- Contribute to safety and loss prevention initiatives.
- Adhere to company policies and operational procedures.
- Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor in all interactions.
- Participate in maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
Additional Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall operation of the store.

- Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to manage stress and interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in organizing children's events is preferred.
- Organizational and creative problem-solving skills are essential.
- Prior retail or customer service experience is required.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the store.
- Regular physical activities including bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Capable of lifting heavy items and using ladders for stock retrieval.
- Work in a public retail setting with varying climate conditions.
