Job Description:

Hamilton County is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Specialist to join their Buildings and Grounds Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory supplies and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving and storing incoming goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and department heads to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and other related documents.
  • Assist with inventory audits and ensure accurate counting and recording of items.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and the public to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 10+ years of experience in supply chain management preferred.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:

The Inventory Specialist will work in a warehouse environment, exposed to cleaning equipment, dust, and fumes. The position requires occasional extended hours, weekend, and evening work.
