Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Job Summary
The Material Handler Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of SMC's warehouse and inventory management processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can accurately perform tasks related to storing, picking, consolidating, organizing, moving, packaging, and shipping inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment, ensuring all materials are accessible, countable, and identifiable.
- Complete daily order picks using RF scanners and automation systems, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform lot tracking of components and pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
- Work collaboratively with the team to improve safety, quality, and productivity, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Understand and follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- The physical demands of this position require standing, walking, and using hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
- The role may necessitate lifting heavy components (up to 40 lbs) as needed.
- The work environment may expose employees to noise, heat, cold, dust, lubricants, and/or solvents.
- Must be able to drive if the position requires the use of a Powered Industrial Truck.
Requirements
- No prior experience is necessary.
- Available to work overtime on weekdays/weekends as needed.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to work in a team environment for increased productivity and quality.
- Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
