Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated SharePoint Systems Analyst who is passionate about web architecture, design, and content management. This role offers the chance to engage in a project that addresses complex challenges by collaborating closely with clients to gather requirements for designing and constructing web-based solutions within the organization's SharePoint environment.

In this position, you will work alongside a SharePoint Developer and key stakeholders within a Department of Defense (DoD) organization to deliver various SharePoint solutions utilizing built-in SharePoint functionalities. Your responsibilities will include creating custom lists for data tracking, managing document libraries for effective information sharing, and implementing best practices in Knowledge Management for web content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, manage, and develop content for a SharePoint-enabled site.
  • Apply knowledge management principles to organize and maintain content, including SharePoint list information and document library contents.
  • Collaborate with a SharePoint developer and DoD client stakeholders to design SharePoint solutions that meet mission requirements.
  • Establish a permissions-based site structure and implement permissions-based controls for SharePoint lists, surveys, and document libraries to ensure appropriate information sharing.
  • Conduct testing as necessary for SharePoint solutions to guarantee proper functionality.
  • Assist in maintaining documentation related to SharePoint sites as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with SharePoint versions 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, or SharePoint Online.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Knowledge Management practices.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively establish and track client requirements for SharePoint site structure, list settings, and document library configurations.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel or Access.
  • Background in web development or collaboration with web developers to enhance SharePoint solutions.
  • Familiarity with the structure and organization of the Department of Defense.

The salary for this position is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this role is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 annually.

Work Model:

Our people-first culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remotely. If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will periodically work from a Booz Allen or client site facility. If it is listed as onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person as required for the specific role.
