Smith Arnold Partners is seeking a dedicated Hospital Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves working closely with the Director of Pharmacy Services to provide expert consultation and collaboration on the therapeutic use of medications, particularly antibiotics, for patients within our care.

The Clinical Pharmacist will also play a vital role in educating and training healthcare professionals engaged in this clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the oversight and management of the clinical pharmacy antibiotic service, focusing on critical care and high-risk patient groups to ensure quality and cost-effective patient care.
  • Foster the professional development of pharmacy staff by providing clinical guidance and education as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals, fostering teamwork and open communication.
  • Innovate and propose new strategies to enhance performance, service delivery, and quality of care, involving relevant stakeholders in the decision-making process.
  • Assume personal accountability for all work-related activities, ensuring commitments are met and acknowledging areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited pharmacy school with a PharmD degree and current registration in New York State.
  • Relevant experience in a clinical pharmacy setting.
