Key Account Manager

NGK Detroit is seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive sales growth, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and resources to meet their business needs.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans and strategies.
- Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market analysis and research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet business objectives.
- Program Management: Manage and coordinate programs with customers, ensuring successful execution and meeting business objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures, identifying and resolving quality issues as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in sales, marketing, or engineering.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Office environment with occasional travel required. Overtime may be necessary to meet business objectives.
