Job Overview
The Program Coordinator is the key contact for the execution and management of the Nurse Aide program. This role involves providing professional guidance and support in alignment with the standards set by the relevant health department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall operations of the program.
  • Review all necessary documentation for compliance and assessments.
  • Assist instructors in addressing student-related concerns.
  • Compile and prepare materials for program approval processes.
  • Ensure effective teaching methods are employed and track student progress.
  • Support the recruitment and selection of students for upcoming classes.
  • Develop and maintain essential instructional materials and equipment.
  • Encourage student engagement through well-prepared syllabi and interactive learning activities.
  • Implement evaluation methods to assess student performance in accordance with educational policies.
  • Coordinate clinical schedules and testing preparations.
  • Manage the schedules of other instructors as necessary.
  • Motivate students to participate actively in their educational journey.
  • Keep the Program Manager updated on curriculum and conduct matters.
  • Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures relevant to the classroom environment.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of two years of nursing experience.
  • At least one year of nursing experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Experience in adult education or supervising nursing aides is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
