Job Overview
The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the implementation and daily operations of the Certified Nurse Aide program. This role acts as the primary liaison for all program-related activities and ensures compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall program operations and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Review and verify all necessary documentation for program evaluations.
  • Assist instructors in addressing student concerns and challenges.
  • Compile and prepare materials for program approval processes.
  • Monitor instructional quality and document student progress effectively.
  • Support the recruitment and selection of students for upcoming classes.
  • Develop and maintain essential teaching materials and equipment.
  • Encourage student engagement through the creation of comprehensive syllabi and interactive learning activities.
  • Implement effective evaluation methods to assess student performance in line with institutional policies.
  • Coordinate clinical schedules and prepare students for testing.
  • Facilitate communication among instructors regarding class schedules and responsibilities.
  • Motivate students to participate actively in their educational journey.
  • Keep the Program Manager updated on curriculum developments and student conduct issues.
  • Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures within the educational environment.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of two years of nursing experience.
  • At least one year of nursing experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Experience in adult education or supervising nursing aides is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
