Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Coordinator to join our Cardiology Clinic team at Boston Children's Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experience and ensuring seamless coordination of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, responding to routine inquiries and resolving complex issues.
  • Lead and oversee the work of designated patient experience staff, planning, prioritizing, and delegating work assignments.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with referring providers and practices to facilitate management of complex patient issues.
  • Monitor clinic activity to ensure the best possible patient experience and assist with resolving customer service and scheduling issues.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of related healthcare experience, computer application experience, and strong customer service experience.
  • Expertise in patient experience and ability to provide guidance, troubleshoot, and answer questions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
  • Ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
