Job Overview: In the role of Regional Nurse, you will oversee nursing operations across multiple nursing homes within the Bethel, Connecticut area. You will collaborate closely with facility administrators and nursing personnel to ensure adherence to all regulatory standards, implement best practices in resident care, and uphold quality benchmarks. This position demands an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a solid history in multi-facility management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing teams across various facilities, ensuring the delivery of superior care.
- Guarantee compliance with state, federal, and local regulations at each facility.
- Conduct regular site assessments to evaluate the quality of care and services rendered.
- Work alongside facility administrators and nursing directors to establish and implement care standards and operational protocols.
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing resident outcomes and improving overall care quality.
- Facilitate the development and training of nursing staff, fostering professional growth and high performance.
- Monitor and assess key performance indicators, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance operations.
- Address and resolve any clinical challenges or concerns that may arise within the facilities.
- Ensure that all facilities are adequately prepared for regulatory inspections and evaluations.
- Act as a resource and mentor to nursing staff, offering guidance on clinical practices and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a multi-facility oversight capacity.
- Strong understanding of state and federal regulations pertaining to long-term care.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage nursing operations across multiple facilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel between facilities within the Bethel, Connecticut area.
- Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to make informed decisions in a dynamic environment.
