Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled PeopleSoft Administrator to oversee and enhance our secure computing framework. The selected candidate will focus on identifying system requirements, executing upgrades, and ensuring optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure PeopleSoft environments, including production, development, testing, and staging.
  • Manage Oracle PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components such as WebLogic, Application Server, and Process Scheduler (Tuxedo) on Oracle RDBMS.
  • Oversee server updates, patches, audit logs, and data backups; ensure compliance with operating system and COTS software security protocols.
  • Conduct application code security assessments and implement necessary code modifications.
  • Establish and maintain Integration Broker for Enterprise Messaging service interfaces.
  • Configure user authentication via WebLogic in conjunction with custom PeopleCode.
  • Design and maintain web interfaces, including Home and Reference pages, focusing on content and branding.
  • Execute periodic refreshes of the PeopleSoft application environment.
  • Facilitate project migration to the Production system and uphold migration protocols for change control.
  • Lead and manage system upgrades for PeopleTools, including updates, bundles, and enhancements to PeopleSoft applications.
  • Document and relay project progress to management consistently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle PeopleSoft Administrator.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading a technical team.
  • Proficient in PeopleSoft Applications (9.2 platform) and PeopleTools 8.59 or higher, with a solid understanding of three-tier architecture.
  • Experience with application installation processes.
  • Familiarity with database structures and access methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of client/server, internet, intranet, and mainframe systems.
  • Understanding of data presentation and reporting techniques.
  • Familiar with project management methodologies; experience with Microsoft Project is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
  • Effective project management skills, capable of setting objectives and prioritizing tasks.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Certification as an Oracle PeopleSoft Administrator is preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
