Job Overview:
As a Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor, you will oversee all facets of the dining and entertainment experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure exceptional guest service that meets or surpasses expectations.
- Guarantee that staffing levels are adequate to fulfill guest requirements.
- Manage daily operations, including profit and loss, by adhering to cash control and security protocols, analyzing financial reports, and implementing necessary actions.
- Oversee all profit and loss centers, encompassing food, beverage, supplies, utilities, and labor costs.
- Conduct business in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Your role will significantly influence the interviewing, hiring, and training of staff; planning, assigning, and directing tasks; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing concerns and resolving issues.
- Responsible for all financial documentation (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with company policies.
- Manage all shifts, which involve daily decision-making, staff support, scheduling, and planning while maintaining standards, product quality, and cleanliness.- Enforce safe work practices to ensure a secure environment for both guests and team members.
- Monitor daily operations to uphold quality food and cleanliness standards.
- Achieve the restaurant's profit and loss, and expense objectives.
- Promote suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain professionalism while fostering a warm, enjoyable, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere.
- Prepare quarterly sales forecasts and projections for supervisor approval, including follow-up on action plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in full-service, casual dining, or a related field.
- Experience in a full-service alcohol-serving establishment is preferred.
- Proven track record of maintaining high standards in cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including coaching, directing, and motivating a team.
- Some familiarity with profit and loss management and sales enhancement is highly desirable.
