Pre-Transition Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with families promptly after the decision to move, providing a warm introduction and coordinating the transition process.
- Assist families and residents with all logistical aspects of the move, excluding care-related matters.
- Conduct a thorough pre-check of the living space and address any readiness concerns.
- Welcome residents and their families on the day of the move.
- Ensure all staff members are informed about the new resident, including nurses and caregivers.
- Offer supportive guidance to residents and families as needed.
- Provide a brief orientation to the apartment and its surroundings.
- Follow up with families within 24-48 hours post-move to ensure satisfaction.
- Support community tours by being knowledgeable about the features and benefits of our services.
- Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with outreach to prospective residents and community tours to achieve sales objectives.
- Educate prospective families and referral sources on how our services can cater to their needs.
- Respond promptly to all inquiries from referral sources, prospective residents, and families.
- Provide relevant community and company information to all inquiries.
- Maintain adequate supplies of promotional and move-in materials.
- Keep the unit inventory and readiness list updated daily.
- Support data entry tasks using the YARDI System.
- Convert working files into permanent records.
- Participate as a member of the community's emergency response team.
- Uphold a professional appearance and adhere to personal hygiene standards as per company policies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of community events as needed.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
- Experience in supporting marketing and sales processes, ideally within a senior living or multi-family context.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Exceptional customer service abilities, both in-person and over the phone.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with YARDI or similar client management systems is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
