Job Summary:

GAT Airline Ground Support is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Operations Supervisor to join its team of aviation professionals. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer service operations, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery to our airline customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Customer Service Operations: Oversee the daily operations of customer service teams, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate Ground Support Equipment: Monitor and maintain the safe and efficient operation of ground support equipment, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Manage Personnel Functions: Handle all personnel-related functions, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations, to ensure proper personnel coverage and effective team management.
  • Liaise with Airline Customers: Serve as the primary point of contact for airline customers, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of customer service professionals.
  • Aviation Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the airport ground handling business, with a strong understanding of customer service operations and ground support equipment management.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with airline customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working variable shifts, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate must be physically fit to perform the duties of the job, including standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
