Administrative Support Specialist

Location: Hanscom AFB, MA
Duties:
- The candidate will receive telephone calls, greet visitors, determine the nature of the call or visit, and direct clients to the appropriate personnel.
- The candidate will schedule training or testing in the appropriate classrooms.
- The candidate will check the mailbox daily and respond to or route the email to the appropriate staff members.
- The candidate shall be responsible for performing various clerical, administrative duties and able to perform a variety of customer service functions.
- Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and files.
- Develop and implement effective administrative procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Self-starter who can independently accomplish tasks; is proactive, flexible, and takes initiative.
- Previous experience is preferred.
