As dedicated security professionals, Advanced Security Specialists are equipped with the expertise to operate both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, high-tech environment.

These specialists engage in comprehensive security measures, conducting patrols across the organization's premises through both vehicular and foot patrols, while also overseeing security at designated fixed sites in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain proficiency and awareness of static guard post responsibilities.
  • Plan and implement security support for operations.
  • Design and deliver advanced security training for all security personnel.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to support security missions.
  • Mentor fellow security team members to identify and report suspicious activities.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and conduct.
  • Execute security operations as directed by leadership.
  • Perform roving patrols of assigned areas.
  • Conduct and evaluate risk assessments of critical facilities.
  • Provide mobile security assistance as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies and lead on-scene operations.
  • Develop and enhance emergency response protocols based on experience.
  • Coordinate transportation operations for domestic flight hardware.
  • Acquire advanced skill sets in areas such as emergency medical response and investigations.
  • Act as a liaison with law enforcement and community stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security, or 1+ years as a Security Officer 2.
  • 1+ year of experience in executive protection or emergency response teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience in military deployment or counterinsurgency.
  • Proven history of managing critical incidents.
  • Experience as a Combat Medic, EMT-B, or Paramedic.
  • Advanced medical emergency training.
  • Documented leadership experience in small units.
  • Exceptional integrity and character.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to de-escalate conflicts effectively.
  • Experience in instructing security tactics and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Extensive experience working in team environments.
  • Genuine interest in safeguarding the future of space exploration.
  • Proficiency in foreign languages.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
  • Subject to pre-employment screening and ongoing random testing.
  • Ability to stand in a static position for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for security operations.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for a state security officer license.
  • Eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: Security Officer / Level 3: $26.00/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis, influenced by job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one component of your total rewards package.

Additional benefits may include long-term incentives, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid parental leave, among others. You may also accrue paid vacation and receive paid holidays throughout the year.
