Position:

Specialist in Wargaming Strategy and Execution

KBR is seeking a Specialist in Wargaming Strategy and Execution to enhance our team. In this role, you will deliver education, training, advisory services, and facilitate wargames across various domains. This includes wargaming methodologies, joint military operations, and information technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship to military personnel and international officers on wargaming methodologies and skill enhancement.
  • Participate in complex problem-solving and offer necessary support.
  • Perform data analysis, interpret findings, and provide strategic recommendations for specific issues.
  • Oversee and direct projects within the wargaming sector, offering guidance to team members.
  • Remain informed on the latest trends in wargaming and conduct evaluations of programs.
  • Formulate system implementation strategies and execute system testing and evaluation.
  • Conduct training sessions utilizing the established curriculum for Wargaming and assist in the development of educational materials.
  • Design and sustain training initiatives for both tabletop and digital wargames.
  • Generate and update training content, ensuring relevance and accuracy.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree coupled with 10-12 years of pertinent experience.
  • A master's degree in strategic studies, military studies, national security, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Expertise in wargaming principles, educational methodologies, and facilitation techniques.
  • Experience in conducting assessments of wargaming programs.
  • Capability to develop educational curricula and perform instructional duties.
  • Familiarity with traditional board games and computer-based wargames.
  • An active secret level security clearance is mandatory.
  • On-site presence is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Competent in using Windows and MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
