Overview:

At Barnum Financial Group, our Human Capital division oversees all facets of the employee journey while crafting and managing diverse training and development initiatives aimed at fostering ongoing growth. We are seeking an intern to assist our Human Capital team in supporting Training & Development and general human resources functions within the department. The ideal candidate should be meticulous, adaptable, proficient with various technology platforms, enjoy client interactions, and possess strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and confirm arrangements with presenters regarding the logistics of forthcoming training sessions.
  • Oversee training operations, including sending invitations, recording sessions, tracking attendance, conducting analysis, and fulfilling post-session requirements.
  • Devise and implement innovative strategies to improve training efficiencies.
  • Conduct research and provide insights on new platforms, technologies, and resources.
  • Update Barnum's internal intranet, B-1, with training sessions and HR announcements.
  • Design surveys and collect feedback following training sessions.
  • Assist with overall event coordination, including liaising with internal specialists, managing catering arrangements, and, if necessary, aiding with travel and accommodation logistics.
  • Engage in training sessions to acquire new skills and foster a culture of learning.
  • Proactively manage internal platforms and systems such as Salesforce, online folders, and shared documents to ensure information remains current and accurate.
  • Maintain guidelines, policies, procedures, and HR manuals for firm employees and contracted associates.
  • Provide ad hoc support on assigned projects and any escalations.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
