Job Summary:

Barnum Financial Group is seeking a highly detail-oriented and adaptable Human Resources Development Specialist to support the Training & Development and general human resources practices within the department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and confirming with presenters regarding logistics of upcoming training sessions, managing training functions, and developing new strategies to enhance training efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and confirm with presenters regarding logistics of upcoming training sessions
  • Manage training functions including sending invitations, recording sessions, tracking attendance, analysis, and post session requirements
  • Develop and implement new strategies to enhance training efficiencies
  • Research and provide intel on new platforms, technologies, and resources
  • Update Barnum's internal intranet, B-1, with training sessions and HR updates
  • Create surveys and gather feedback post trainings
  • Assist with overall event coordination, including communication with internal specialists, catering preparations, and if necessary, assisting with travel/hotel accommodations
  • Participate in training sessions to learn new skills and promote a learning culture
  • Proactively manage internal platforms and systems like Salesforce, online folders, shared documents, to ensure information is up to date and accurate
  • Maintain guidelines, policies, procedures, and HR manuals for firm employees and contracted associates
  • Provide ad hoc support on assigned projects and any escalations

Requirements:
