Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Affordable Community Director to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall operations of our affordable housing properties, including leasing, resident services, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction, retention, and overall property performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including Fair Housing and OSHA requirements.
  • Supervise and train on-site staff, including leasing consultants, maintenance technicians, and resident services coordinators.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, leasing, and maintenance, to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in affordable housing property management, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and USDA-Rural Development.
  • Affordable Housing Accreditation (e.g., HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Proficient in property management software, including Yieldstar, Yardi, and Weblisters.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
