Job Title: Senior Director of Marketing and Communications

PATH is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to lead our global marketing and communications efforts. As a key member of our Executive Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that elevates our global profile, supports fundraising efforts, and enhances our visibility and reputation worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to engage key audiences and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of impactful marketing and communications materials, including annual reports, newsletters, press releases, and digital content.
  • Manage the organization's online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts and provide regular reports to the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with programmatic staff to highlight PATH's expertise and evidence.
  • Work closely with PATH's President and CEO, the Executive Team, and the Chief of External Affairs, as well as other program leaders, technical experts, and communications professionals across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field, plus a minimum of 15 years' experience in a series of progressively responsible marketing and communications roles.
  • Experience advising nonprofit clients or working in a nonprofit environment is required.
  • Experience leading, managing, and motivating teams is required.
  • 5+ years' experience in international marketing or communications roles is preferred.
  • Experience in global health, international development, or related fields is preferred.
  • A blend of nonprofit, private sector, public sector, and/or agency work is highly desirable.
