Assistant Community Manager Role
Thrive Communities is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Community Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate resident records and update daily reports on rents, deposits, and application fees.
- Process and submit tax credit certifications and recertification files for approval.
- Manage electronic storage of tax credit/lease agreement files in Yardi and Thrive software.
- Oversee extended vacancies report and ensure timely completion of move-in and move-out processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, clients, and vendors, ensuring a positive community experience.
- Collaborate with the Community Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies to improve resident satisfaction and drive business growth.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Process security deposit move-out reports and ensure accurate accounting of resident deposits.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Community Manager or Regional Manager.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience in property management as a Leasing Consultant/Manager, Assistant Manager, or Community Manager.
- Experience with LIHTC and/or other affordable programs.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to lift/move/push/pull up to 25 lbs on occasion and frequent need to lift/push/pull up to 20 lbs.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires the ability to stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day.
- Constant need to type, write, and grasp (working at a computer and answering phones).
- Occasional need to bend/stoop/squat, climb stairs, push or pull, and reach above shoulder (cleaning up litter, putting out advertisement sandwich boards, put out balloons, open doors, pick up and move items).
