Key Responsibilities:- Account Management: Manage and grow key retail accounts, including major mass and drug retail accounts such as Target, Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS.
- Promotional Planning: Develop and execute account-specific promotional plans, including trade spend plans, promotional planning, and merchandising strategies.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations to maximize profitability and establish long-term partnerships with retail partners.
- Broker Management: Develop and execute effective broker management strategies to ensure external sales partners achieve key performance targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to align on account strategies and execution plans.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and provide regular updates and performance reports on account activities.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in National Account Management within a CPG environment.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic account plans, strong negotiation skills, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
