About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our Dining Services team at Holiday by Atria - Bridge Park. As a valued member of our culinary team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare nutritious, appetizing, and attractive meals for our residents, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Oversee the preparation and set-up of service, ensuring that meals are served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow food safety and handling procedures, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Accurately complete logs and records, including refrigerator, freezer, and production sheets.
  • Assist with menu planning, ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Perform administrative duties, including staffing and payroll management.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the culinary industry or full-service restaurant cooking.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience mentoring and directing others.
  • Ability to prepare and follow recipes.
  • General knowledge of and ability to conform to sanitation and safe food handling practices.
  • Basic computer skills.
