Job Overview

Ethan Stowell Restaurants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary teams. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menu concepts, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute menu concepts that showcase local and seasonal ingredients, while maintaining a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Lead and manage kitchen teams to ensure efficient and effective operations, while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items and specials, and to maintain a high level of culinary excellence.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes, with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience required.
