Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Business Development Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive business development plan to drive growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering teams, product marketing, product management, and other stakeholders to develop and execute business development initiatives.
- Identify and Pursue New Opportunities: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities and help focus the team on the most attractive initiatives.
- Develop and Maintain Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with emerging markets leaders, technology providers, and other key stakeholders to drive growth and expansion.
- Communicate Effectively: Develop and deliver compelling presentations to internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate business development strategies and results.
- 15+ Years of Business Development Experience: Proven track record of driving strategic partnerships, alliances, and business development at a startup technology company.
- Related Sales/BD Leadership Experience: Experience in sales and business development leadership, with a focus on business development.
- Understanding of Cloud Ecosystem: Strong understanding of the cloud ecosystem, including servers, CSP, datacenter, 5G base stations, and preferred products and technologies.
- Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or technical degree, with an MBA preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrable experience in technologies related to security domain, AI, advanced hardware, datacenter domains, and next-generation Internet technologies.
- Agreement Structuring and Negotiation: Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements, including interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys to complete agreements.
- Proven Track Record of Growth: Proven track record of growth and expansion in business development.
- Global Business Development Experience: Experience running global business development in a technology startup.
- Cloud Service Provider Experience: Experience working with cloud service providers, data center/infrastructure customers, and Tier 1, 2, 3 cloud providers.
- Customer Evangelism: Experience evangelizing new product concepts with customers of cloud service providers, including Banking, Government, Military, Healthcare, and Infrastructure CISOs.
