In this position, you will act as a crucial link between students, faculty, staff, and the Facilities team to effectively manage facilities-related issues across the campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls and take appropriate actions based on the inquiries.
- Coordinate the dispatch of Facilities technicians to resolve work orders efficiently.
- Effectively communicate details regarding maintenance, repairs, and operational shutdowns.
- Maintain ongoing communication with both administrative personnel and field teams.
- Monitor alarm systems and respond as necessary to ensure safety.
- Address customer complaints and provide accurate information to inquiries.
- Collaborate with contractors to resolve various issues.
- Manage Access Control levels for online requests.
- Alert on-call leaders regarding emergency situations.
- Compile shift reports and manage holiday scheduling.
- Engage in disaster preparedness and recovery planning initiatives.
- Execute additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent educational background.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in related fields.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
