ABOUT THE POSITION


We are seeking an experienced IT leader to oversee our global IT operations encompassing System Administration, networking, business applications, and all IT-related requirements.

This position demands a robust understanding of various IT technologies, both on-premises and cloud-based, along with a strong service orientation and a commitment to excellent delivery.


Additionally, you will be responsible for managing, communicating, and collaborating with teams of both engineering and non-engineering personnel who operate on-site and remotely across various global locations.

You will lead a team of IT experts as well as third-party vendors to deliver comprehensive IT services. Collaboration with members of the engineering, finance, and supply chain teams in different regions will be essential. The ability to work independently while maintaining close communication with your remote manager is crucial.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the maintenance of critical IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
Take ownership of projects and solutions that align with broader business initiatives.
Manage essential IT tasks and systems administration for business-critical operations.
Research and assess emerging technologies, hardware, and software solutions.
Maintain and track hardware and software inventories.
Develop and implement strategic IT plans and initiatives that support the organization’s overarching goals and objectives.
Lead and mentor a distributed team of IT professionals across multiple locations, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Oversee daily IT operations, including network infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, helpdesk support, and vendor management.
Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems and services across all regions.
Manage IT projects from inception to completion, including defining scope, resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Monitor and assess IT risks, implementing controls to mitigate potential threats to data security and business continuity.
Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms to optimize value and minimize risk.
Foster effective communication and collaboration between IT teams and other departments within the organization. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their IT needs and priorities, ensuring alignment with IT strategy.
Train employees on software and hardware usage; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support as necessary.
Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and maintain data backups.
Manage and oversee business systems, focusing primarily on the company's NetSuite ERP and Atlassian products. Ensure effective daily operations, configuration, and maintenance of these systems to support business processes and workflows.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are preferred.

8+ years of experience in information technology, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role within global organizations with multiple locations.

A proven track record of successfully managing global IT operations and projects in complex organizational environments.

Strong technical skills across various IT domains, including networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, backups, and recovery procedures.

Experience with specific technologies such as Intune, Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, Apple Business Manager, and Palo Alto security products is essential.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams across geographically dispersed locations.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans that drive business value and innovation.
Experience with IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX).

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, focusing on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specifications.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Knowledge of NetSuite and Atlassian products is preferred.
Fluent English is mandatory.
