Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager, you will:
  • Develop impactful customer experiences that drive education and therapeutic consideration for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients.
  • Manage executional support for educational peer-to-peer (P2P) initiatives and spearhead key regional marketing campaigns, including conference participation and sponsorships.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and provide strategic recommendations to optimize brand performance.
  • Establish partnerships with field leadership to tailor marketing strategies and enhance P2P education support.
  • Oversee speaker programs, including speaker selection, training, and content development in collaboration with brand marketing.
  • Gather market insights to inform marketing strategies and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with competitive dynamics.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Facilitate advisory boards and consultant meetings to gather insights that shape brand strategies.
  • Support the planning and execution of IBD congress strategies, including engagement planning and post-event evaluations.
  • Enhance the presence of IBD at various congresses through effective booth design and sponsorship management.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree is essential; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in customer-facing roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
  • At least 2 years of experience in clinical liaison, thought leader management, or marketing within the relevant therapeutic area.

Preferred:
  • Experience in IBD, specialty biologics, or rare diseases is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing key opinion leaders (KOLs) is a plus.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding performance metrics in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and similar tools.
  • Ability to execute strategic plans under tight deadlines while adapting to changing environments.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including weekends for conferences and key internal meetings. This role is classified as remote in accordance with Takeda's Hybrid and Remote Work policy.
