Job Title: Front Desk Agent

21c Museum Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the face and voice of our hotel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Check guests in and out, using both manual and computerized methods.
  • Facilitate guest departures and close guest accounts in a timely manner.
  • Process cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Answer incoming calls, assist with outgoing calls, and schedule wake-up calls.
  • Provide guests with timely and efficient service, including processing mail, messages, and faxes.
  • Stay up-to-date on gift shop merchandise and provide guests with information and process sales.
  • Relay art exhibition information to guests.
  • Contribute to department communications and operations by maintaining established information and communications sources.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of standard cash handling procedures and computerized cash register systems.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, work on multiple tasks, and communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to use tact and understanding when dealing with customer service problems.
  • Highly organized and able to pay attention to minute details.
Education and Training:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
