We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic hotel front desk attendant to join our guest services team at LaQuinta Inn & Suites Lexington South. Responsibilities- Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring a positive first impression of our hotel.
- Manage guest accounts, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a fair and respectful manner.
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date guest account information.
- Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
- Must have at least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
