We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate at Proof Fitness. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our members and guests, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet each member and guest promptly, enthusiastically, and with a smile to create a friendly and positive entrance into the club.
- Check-in Procedures: Check each member in using the proper check-in procedures and monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts.
- Guest Registration: Register all guests into the club using proper registration procedures and ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate fitness consultant in a prompt and professional manner.
- Phone and Messaging: Answer phone calls by the third ring in a professional, courteous, and enthusiastic manner using the proper phone greeting and address caller's requests and/or take appropriate messages.
- Administrative Tasks: Register all telephone inquiries in the TI register in the Master Production Binder and transfer the call to the appropriate Fitness Consultant, respond immediately to requests, inquiries, and concerns, and perform End of Shift and End of Day processing.
- Merchandise and Sales: Promote and sell merchandise, restock items, and keep coolers and food displays looking full.
- Maintenance and Housekeeping: Assess and keep front desk, retail, drink, supplement display, and surrounding areas orderly and clean, and follow proper opening and closing procedures.
- Incident Reporting: Log all maintenance concerns as identified and notify management of incidents that require incident reports.
- Attendance and Communication: Work when scheduled and adhere to company attendance policies, attend all staff meetings as directed, and perform other duties as directed by management.
Requirements:
- Experience and Skills: A minimum of six months related experience, excellent communication and customer service skills, understanding of basic cash procedures, and basic computer skills are required.
- Certifications and Training: Current CPR certification and basic first aid training within 60 days of hire are required.
- Physical Demands: Position duties require standing for long periods of time, daily walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Language Skills:
- Communication: Ability to read and interpret common business-related documents, such as the Proof Fitness membership agreement, and respond verbally and in writing to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community.
